Pin-sanity, Pin-credible, or plain old Pin-posterous?

I was pinning up a storm today when my A.D.D kicked in and I wondered to myself; does social media get any better than Pinterest? One thing led to the other and before I knew it, I found myself on a mission to discover any and every Pinterest alternative out there.

I have to say I was pretty surprised with my findings.

Sure, I figured there would be a couple websites that slightly mimicked some aspects of the Pinterest model (it is the latest e-fad) but in no way did I ever imagine that Pinterest would pull a Lindsey Lohan in The Parent Trap and have an identical twin.

I started making my way down the 33 “du-pin-cates” list when I stumbled onto #19, Pinspire… A.K.A. Pinterest’s long lost twin. Seriously, check it out!

Can you tell the difference? ‘Cause I can’t… Pinspire looks the same, sounds the same, IS the same. What do you guys think? Is this even allowed? Aren’t there some sort of “co-pin-right” laws against this?

I guess I should be happy with the fact that I have one more website to “pin-crastinate” with…. On that note, I should probably stop with the pins—I mean puns—now and go to bed.
