Tis the Season for a Halloween Viral Video

With Halloween quickly approaching it only reminds me to watch a very special viral video. This Halloween inspired video was created and sent out to parents around the nation by comedian and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. His bold mission to parents: trick their children into thinking they ate all their Halloween candy and record their reaction. Kimmel did not think their reaction would turn out to be tears and distress. But you have to admit though, this video is quite hilarious. Check out one of my favorite viral videos for yourself and prepare for tears of laughter! And if you have seen it before, you know you want to watch it again...

YouTube Challenge - I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy

So why did this video go viral? I think the 33 millions viewers of this video and I all loved to be entertained and who doesn't enjoy seeing little children cry over something so innocent as Halloween candy? What do you think you sneaky moms and dads out there: cruel or just down right comedy? I think something as silly as this, you can't help but to take it lightheartedly and bring on the giggles.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Wonderful Wanelo

Are you searching for another website besides Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest that give you that special moment to escape from the world for just a little? Well have I found the website for you! It is called Wanelo (wah-nee-lo, from Want, Need, Love) and Wanelo is a social store put together by Wanelo users. The mission of this social website is to create an open and connected market for trendy, different and unique goods. The good thing about Wanelo is you can almost buy everything you see on the website and everything is posted by other members!

I love that the name Wanelo comes for the term “Want, Need, Love” because that is exactly how I feel while I am surfing this site. Things you could find on Wanelo are super cute clothing, all different little nicnacs, great gift ideas, iPhone cases and one of a kind jewelry pieces. The best thing about Wanelo is once you spot an item you want, need and love you are instantaneously directed to the site you can purchase it from! Everyone get out your wallets because you won’t want to miss any of these one of a kind pieces. There is even a Wanelo app for on the go.

I decided to share with you some things I have picked out on Wanelo and added to my wish list (oh, just in case you're running a little low on funds, you can save items to a categorical wish list.) These items were on my "Epic Wish List."

So whenever you are looking for some time to kill, looking for a gift idea or just looking to spoil yourself with adorable presents, please check out Wanelo.com! I promise you will love it!

When I came across this mug, my inner Cookie Monster came out! I just thought it was so cute and the perfect snacking device.

It was love at first sight when I saw these fringed booties. One day, you will be mine.

Tumbling for Tumblr

With inspiration board sites on the rise, it's no surprise that Pinterest isn't the only 'pinning' site. Tumblr is a site similar to Pinterest, in that people are able to 're-pin,' or in Tumblr's case 're-blog,' others photos and inspiration. In my eyes, Tumblr blows any other social media site out of the water. Tumblr is also somewhat similar to Facebook, as users can 'follow' other users so their activity is published live in their dashboard/newsfeed, keeping track of their friend's every move. Tumblr is also a great blog site, as it is easier to use than most blog templates and blog generating sites. You can post your own pictures, reblog the pictures of others, voice your opinion through text boxes on your website and even message other Tumblr members.

It's amazing to think that all social media sites are so alike in their ideas and make. Facebook truly paved the way for social media sites, as Facebook's traits are favored by millions of users, impacting the way other companies have composed their newly released sites. Tumblr even has its own Iphone app so you can stay connected while on the go. So take some time out and invest some time to check out other people's Tumblrs or take a leap (a super fun leap!) and create your own. You can even check out my personal Tumblr to get inspiration!

WARNING: Tumblr is addicting.

Blogger Nation

With the increase in social media, it only makes sense that people are looking for additional ways to express themselves. Due to this, blogging has been on the rise as people jump at the opportunity to share their thoughts, concerns, likes and dislikes on the worldwide web. I personally have my own blog while I also follow other blogs, checking them on a day to day basis. I consider some of the blogs I follow more addicting than Facebook! Here are some blogs that I personally enjoy.

Cupcakes & Cashmere

Suri's Burn Book

Kate Spade's Blog

The coolest thing about blogs is that those of us who put in full-time effort can actually make a living off of them by simply voicing our opinions & thoughts. How cool is that?! I'll admit it sounds awesome but blogging as a career isn't as easy as it sounds. Check out this link & find out what it takes to become a professional blogger.

& while you're at it, check out the blogs featured in order to get a feel of what blogger fans are looking for. I for one am partial to fashion sites, so excuse me if I seem blog biased!
